Ramón López-Peláez, an ICF certified coach, shares his experience providing Career Coaching at OrientaEuro.
Before he was a coach, Ramón worked in consulting and banking, where he learned a lot but did not feel fulfilled. He became a coach as he feels that having a direct impact on the well-being of others is important to him.
He starts the Career Coaching process by listening to his clients, what’s important to them in their professional career, what has worked or not so far, and finding the fundamental “pillars” of their professional lives.
In Ramón’s opinion, the most interesting part of being a coach is working with a wide variety of people, all of whom have a different situation. Many of his clients are dissatisfied with their current work situations and therefore, for Ramón, being able to increase their self- esteem is the most important aspect of his job.
